Welcome to official landing page of poet & writer CM Pickard, a self-proclaimed late bloomer based in Melbourne, Australia. Join her in embracing the beauty of late beginnings, while she weaves emotion and thought into verse.

Drawing on her unique experiences with honesty, drama and occasionally—a little bit of fun. Each piece crafted serves as a window into her worldview and our part in it.

After years of procrastination and pushing down the artist within, she finally embraced her long-buried passion for creating art. With every brushstroke, her confidence blossomed, until her creativity that had laid dormant expanded to include writing and finally poetry.

Whether delving into heavy subjects or indulging in playful whimsy, she invites you to join her on a creative journey that celebrates the freedom of expression that only poetry can provide.

Finally, her writing is a celebration of the human experience, reminding us that even in life's challenges, there’s a narrative that connects us all.

Despite the delay in her journey, she’s discovered it's never too late to explore your voice.
